A slew of STEM scholarships are up for grabs, with deadlines starting now and stretching through the end of January. But don’t sit on this info—some deadlines are just around the corner.

At STEM Greenhouse, we know there are manybarriers to educational access. Sharing these opportunities isn’t just about helping students afford college; it’s about supporting young minds from communities that often get overlooked, empowering them with knowledge and social networks, and giving them a shot at becoming the movers and shakers who will change the world.

2024 Davidson Fellow Scholarship

Amount: $50000, $25000, $10000

Information Session: Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 at 4:00 pm Pacific Time.

Application Deadline: February 14, 2024

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be 18 or younger as of the application deadline to be eligible.
  • Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States, or a Permanent Resident of the United States residing in the United States, or be stationed overseas due to active U. S. military duty.
  • There is no minimum age for eligibility.
  • Teams of two are eligible. Both team members must meet eligibility requirements.
  • Davidson Fellows must be available to attend, with one parent or guardian, the awards reception and other recognition events in September in Washington, DC. (Travel expenses and lodging will be provided by the Institute.)

Project Criteria

Scholarships are awarded based on significant work. Significant work is an accomplishment that experts in the field recognize as meaningful and has the potential to make a positive contribution to society. Such work may be:

  • an exceptionally creative application of existing knowledge
  • a new idea with high-impact
  • an innovative solution with broad-range implications
  • an important advancement that can be replicated and built upon
  • an interdisciplinary discovery
  • a prodigious performance
  • another demonstration of extraordinary accomplishment

Information for teams:

  • Teams may be no more than two people.
  • Both team members must be 18 or younger as of the application deadline of February 14, 2024.
  • Both team members must attend any in-person awards events.
  • Scholarship money will be split evenly between the two team members.
  • As with solo submissions, two nominators are required.

Orangesoft Women in Technology Scholarship Program

Amount: $500

Application Deadline: November 15, 2023

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be a student currently studying at or has been accepted to an accredited college or university in the United States.
  • Be currently enrolled in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree-granting program OR demonstrate plans to pursue a career in technology after graduation.
  • Identify as a woman.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Additional Submission Requirements:

  • Essay: Tell us about yourself and how you plan to make a positive impact on the world through a STEM career. (500 words)

The Science Ambassador Scholarship

Amount: Full tuition

“Tuition Solution” Scholarship for STEM Students

Amount: $500

Eligibility Requirements:

  • High school seniors intending to enroll in community college or university for STEM studies in Fall 2024.
  • Current college and graduate students enrolled for the 2023-24 academic year in STEM programs.

Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship from the ASNT Foundation

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Undergraduate students
  • Enrolled in colleges and universities in the United States with recognized engineering department programs when the application is submitted for this scholarship.
  • Each potential candidate for this award must show their anticipated graduation date later than the date the award funds will be distributed.
