NOAA Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship | National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Eligibility: 

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be currently enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university within the United States or U.S. territories as either:
    • a full-time 2nd year student in a four-year undergraduate program*
    • a full-time 3rd year student in a five-year undergraduate program*
    • a community college or transfer student who is applying to a four-year institution
      • Community college or transfer applicants must provide proof of application to a four-year institution when submitting their application for the scholarship.
      • If accepted for the Hollings Scholarship, applicants must submit proof of acceptance prior to starting the program.
  • The full-time enrollment requirement applies throughout the period of undergraduate studies: prior to and at the time of application for the scholarship, for the period between application and award notification, and after award distribution.

AMS Freshman Undergraduate Scholarships | American Meteorology Society

  • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2024-2025 academic year

Davidson Institute Fellows Scholarship

Eligibility: 

    • Be 18 or younger as of the application deadline to be eligible.
    • Be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States, or a Permanent Resident of the United States residing in the United States, or be stationed overseas due to active U. S. military duty.

    • Teams of two are eligible. Both team members must meet eligibility requirements.

AMS Scholarship for Underserved Communities | American Meteorology Society

American Welding Society Scholarships

ASME Scholarships | The American Society of Mechanical Engineers

  • The ASME INSPIRE/ Charles W.E. Clarke Scholarship – $2,000
      • The student needs to be a graduating high school senior who intends to pursue an engineering degree or STEM-related studies.
      • Planning to enroll full-time in an ABET-accredited or substantially equivalent mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology program no later than the fall after your senior year in high school  (Substantially equivalent means that at least 25% of your courses would be from the Mechanical Engineering Department.)

  • John and Elsa Gracik Scholarship – $5,000 (up to 5 awards)
    • Student Status: for study in the freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year.

    • Enrolled in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related baccalaureate program in the US.
